When it comes to fiction, you can have multiple “levels” of sub-genres.” For example, Detective Fiction is a popular sub-genre of the Crime Fiction genre. And the Crime Fiction genre is a sub-genre of the Fiction genre.
What is the best sub-genre definition for nonfiction?
Nonfiction can have multiple levels of sub-genres as well. For example, books about Dating are often considered a sub-genre of the Relationships genre. And books in the Relationships genre are often considered a sub-genre of the Self-Help or Personal Development genre.
